Why do You stand afar off, O Lord?
Why do You hide Yourself in times of trouble?
Now with the CoVID19 Pandemic, we maintain distance with others, but we need to draw near to God. These uncertain times require close spiritual proximity to Him. David felt that God was far away from him. But God shows up in new ways. I always remember what one of my old professor’s taught me, it will feel like God’s presence is gone, so we don’t take it for granted.
There are many people right now who took their jobs for granted and now confined to the house have great appreciation for their work. So, when it seems like God is further away, remember it is to help you develop greater appreciation.
God in this uncertain time Give me the grace to stay close to you and help me with anxiety and to know you are always there regardless of how it seems and feels-Amen!
